(JRT) is a skill-development program designed to help you prepare to enter the workforce. By engaging with a curriculum focused on skill building you will learn about yourself and your strengths you. JRT is designed to be adaptable to your unique interests and experience, making it a useful tool on your career path.
How long is JRT?
JRT is structured so you can work at your own pace. By accessing JRT’s online platform, you can feel empowered to work as much and as quickly as you like.
Where can I take JRT?
JRT is offered online through Google Classroom or in person in the PAVE Career Lab.
What will I learn in JRT?
JRT covers 5 essential workplace skills:
- Adaptability
- Self-Awareness
- Communication
- Collaboration
- Problem Solving
What happens when I graduate from JRT?
After you graduate, you will be connected to a PAVE Career Coach or PAVE’s Employment Navigator, who can help you:
- Develop an Individualized Career Plan
- Perform one-on-one job search assistance
- Access resources needed to be successful in a job (transportation, uniforms, etc.)
- Get connected to paid internships opportunities with New Avenues’ social enterprise programs
- And more!
