Program Coordinator

New Avenues for Youth, an innovative and dynamic organization creating high impact solutions to youth homelessness, seeks an experienced, skilled Program Coordinator to lead and supervise our day services and clinical treatment team. Ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication & organizational skills, experience with budgeting, contract complaiance, and staff development skills. Master's degree required, LCSW perferred. Previous supervisory experience, on-call duties, program development skills, and experience working with at-risk youth required. Youth Counselor/Case Manager

New Avenues for Youth seeks an energetic, flexible staff to work in our drop-in center serving homeless youth as a counselor/case manager. Supervise a milieu setting, maintaining a safe and supportive environment while motivating youth to explore alternatives to street life. Responsibilities include practicing strengths-based case management, crisis intervention, advocacy, and providing basic needs assistance including meal preparation and cleaning duties. BA, CADC and experience with transition age youth, drug/alcohol, and/or mental health required. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Fulltime position, Tues – Sat schedule, with competitive salary and excellent benefits including employer paid medical, dental, life, disability, and retirement.
